2016 Pinot Noir, Yamhill Springs Vineyard

2016 Pinot Noir, Yamhill Springs Vineyard

Powerful and intense like a first-born. Strawberry compote, red currant jelly, Bing cherries, and blackberries are accented by tarragon and a spritz of fresh eucalyptus to keep it real. The palate is concentrated and ambitious, with notes of strawberry shortcake, dried tobacco leaf, and a solid frame of respectful tannins and acidity. This wine enjoys playing the long game and will always be Dad’s favorite :-/.
