2016 Pinot Noir, Silvershot Vineyard

2016 Pinot Noir, Silvershot Vineyard

Relationship status: Its complicated. Immediate aromas of raspberries and red currants evolve into deeper blueberry notes with air. On the palate, this wine balances bright fruit clarity with crunchy earth tones, hazelnuts, crushed walnut shells, and a savory minerality drawn from the ancient sea fossils in the shallow oceanic vineyard soil. Aromatically complex with layers of edgy personality, this wine is most comfortable wearing flannel and will blossom with age.
